Woman VS. the Wild

Since my handsome hubby and also resident possum hunter has been temporarly gone because of work, me the WOMAN of the house has had to take on some pretty nasty visitors: 9 POSSOMS!!! Thats right, a mama possom found its way into our 96 year old house's attic and give birth to I think the largest litter of not-so little possums in history. I read on wikipedia today that litters can be anywhere from 6 to 25- that is so sick! At night, as I am trying to enjoy the peace and quiet I can hear them running around up there. Our landlord has been catching them in a trap over the last few weeks.
To top it off, I was welcomed home after a weeks vacation by a warm horrid stench invading the inside of our house. Turns out a possum died under our bedroom.
